Dear Daddy...
Happy Father's Day! I hope you had a great time today. I had so much fun playing and swimming with you. I think it is safe to say that I have the best daddy in the whole world.
Everytime you come home from work, I can hear your motorcycle coming down the street. I immediately stop whatever I am doing to crawl/walk toward the door where I know I will soon see your big smile. I stand at the top of the stairs peeking through the gate and jump up and down and squeal with excitement just knowing the moment is about to arrive when I will get big hugs and kisses from my da-da.
The weekends are especially great cause you get up with me every morning and we play non-stop until naptime. I love that you will stop at nothing and act completely silly just to make me smile and giggle. My favorite is the "quack-quack" game we play everytime I take a bath or bring you my ducky.
Other reasons you are such a cool daddy:
- You let me pinch your nose as many time as I please.
- When I burp or toot, you applaud me and say, "that's my girl"
- You let me stay in the bathtub as long as I want and you dont care if the bathroom ends up more wet than dry by the time I am done splashing.
- When you change my poopy diapers, you make a big production of it as if it is the first time you have seen such a mess. I believe you refer to these as "bio-bombs" Haven't you gotten used to these by now? I promise they aren't going to get any less messy anytime soon dude.
- And the best reason of all that you are such a great dad: You work hard every day so that mommy can stay home with me.
